ENGLISH LANGUAGE CURRICULUM - YEAR EIGHTH OF BASIC EDUCATION
GENERAL COMPETENCE
To develop communicative competence through linguistic competence by means of: reading, listening, speaking and writing with satisfactory performance according to the students' age and
demonstrating the use of values.
LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE
Listening
To process and understand spoken messages of which the complexity mercases gradually.
Reading
To process and understand written messages of which the complexity increases gradually.
Speaking
To produce oral messages less complex than the receptive written and aural texts.
Writing
To produce written messages less complex than the receptive written and aural texts.
